Great place for an adventure if you looking for getting out into the outdoors. Rock climbing, high ropes, cave maze, flying fox, the giant swing all the activities was super fun. Food was super yummy. Its great place to watch the sunrise down on the river. The place was very clean and tidy. Shout out all the stuff at Y camp they were very friendly and kind to me.
I LOVE THIS CAMP! My instructor was Harrison and he was so nice and patient with my group. The activities were so fun even the more unique ones! The cabins were clean, the beds were so comfy and the food was SO DELICIOUS! Camp Yarramundi really helped me overcome my fears and encouraged me to try new things I also learned a lot of new skills!Overall my experience at this camp was PHENOMENAL!
BIG UP HUGH!!! fav instructor, literally made the camping experience phenomenal. his overall attitude on life is exquisite and we love you!! we appreciate ur humbleness and vast knowledge on the human experience and your effort in making our last camp the BEST camp.
The camp was decent. The food wasnt horrible but it also wasnt the best either. The matresses were all squeaky and covered in some plastic thing so everyone ended up sleeping on the floor. The bathrooms were very small and crowded with doors that barely locked. Our room didn't even have a working aircon remote because it got switched with another cabin so everyone was freezing in there.
The staff were wonderful; friendly and engaging :). The food was ok but the chicken was kinda pink. The water is filtered rainwater which tasted fine and it didn't look yellow to me. The cabins were good and the heating from the AC in there was a lifesaver. The bathrooms were fine with hot water and stuff but they were not the best. The activities were fun and challenging. Our school was assigned 2 instructors; Alysha and Jasper. My class had Alysha who was very nice and kept me calm during abseiling. She also put up with half of our class ditching all the slow people and walking ahead, on an 8 hour hike, leaving her to struggle with checking up on us in the front and the people in the back. Jasper was nice too and managed to persuade even the most rebellious people of my grade to follow the rules willingly. There was also this other instructor who used to be a professional chef (and didn't tell us his name). He rescued many of the dinners my classmates made the night we camped out. (Sadly my group's meal was too disastrous to rescue T-T). Overall I had a very fun if not memorable time at this camp.
shoutout to flynn ayeyee also the water was murky dont drink it. the cabin heater didnt work and there was no hot water in the shower for the first night and i was so cold i got sick for a week

It was good I went here on Monday and came back to my school this afternoon. The beds were uncomfortable and the toast for breakfast was stale but all the other meals were good. But I really liked Emily she was so nice and funny. I wish I could come here again. And all the activities were fun but cave maze was on the list but we didn't do it and it had no description on the note. But it was really nice and I liked it here.
